Download measured to Google, Cloudflare, Netflix, Amazon, and other major CDNs — the networks that actually deliver the web.
What to look for in your results
Download
Cable plans show much higher download than upload. That's expected.
Latency (ping)
Under 30 ms is excellent for gaming and video calls. Over 100 ms will feel noticeable.
Bufferbloat
An A or B grade means your connection handles congestion well. D or F causes call and gaming lag even at high speeds.

How do I test my internet speed?▾
Click Start Test above. SpeedIP measures download speed, upload speed, latency, jitter, and bufferbloat grade — all in one run, no signup required.
What does bufferbloat mean on a speed test?▾
Bufferbloat is when your router holds too much traffic in memory, causing latency to spike when the connection is busy. SpeedIP grades it A–F during a full test. A or B is good; D or F means gaming and video calls will feel choppy even when raw Mbps looks fine.
Why does my ISP's speed test show different results than SpeedIP?▾
Your ISP's test often routes to a server hosted on their own network, which may be faster than general internet traffic. SpeedIP tests to real CDN endpoints you actually use every day, giving a more realistic picture.
